Michael’s infant flight from New Jersey to Hawaii arrived just in time for him to witness the Apollo 11 moon landing, foreshadowing a life of adventure—from the cloud forests of Costa Rica and corals of the Great Barrier Reef to the deeply personal, lived experience through love and loss, repair and rebirth.

Following a Psychology degree from Queen’s University and MBA from Ivey Business School, Michael spent two decades rapidly ascending the ranks of corporate strategy and executive leadership roles with fast-paced, private and publicly held multinationals, while active as a keynote speaker, board director, and community volunteer. But his path was abruptly redirected by a resounding wake-up call – so driven by external achievements and accolades, he’d lost the script on his own life. Supported by close friends and advisors, Michael embarked on an in-depth journey to reclaim his personal vitality and sense of purpose in the world.

Michael emerged with a profound pivot, launching Boydell Global to serve as ‘growth partner’ with an exclusive roster of corporate leaders. Michael elevated from ‘member’ to ‘certified forum facilitator’ with Young Presidents’ Organization where he has guided hundreds of top-rated leadership experiences around the world with YPO’s Board, global community of coaches, and vast network of 35,000+ CEO and President members.

A varsity athlete in college and graduate school, Michael went on to coach more than two dozen youth sports teams while learning to compete (with himself) in Iron-distance triathlon. As an experiential-learner passionate about human performance, music, art, culture, wildlife, and the great outdoors, Michael and Kimberley are blessed with four adult children, and lead active lives of work and play wherever adventure calls.
